Time for Carly Smithson, who we learn was originally gonna sing "All I Ask of You." Luckily, she averted that crisis. ALW also likes her tattoos.

Me: I'm ecstatic that Carly opts for a fast tune this week. That in itself should give her an edge. I'm impressed, though, and I think it's a good balance as far as vocal range goes. No major complaints. Seems like Carly got some of her footing back from last week. Maybe my favorite of the night. Love her dress, too.
Randy: "It was definitely good."
Paula: "I love what you did in the chorus."
Simon: "It was actually one of my favorite performances of the night."

wow i have to say I've changed my mind about carly. i hated her and her accent and her look from the beginning but now i am starting to see her appeal

I cannot stand Carly. I must admit, though, that it could be more about her excessive tattoos and that ugly tattooed husband of hers. They're both gross and dirty looking, and that distracts me from even wanting to hear her sing.
I really liked her outfit.
