Here's the highly anticipated Mariah Carey performance. She looks great, and I especially like the glittery microphone. I can't say I totally loved the song, "Bye Bye," but I kept telling myself it would sound 100 times worse if performed by any of the 7 finalists. Yes, even David Cook.
Also, I like how she wasted absolutely no time plugging her album.
Can you guys believe she's 38 years old?

She definitely commands the stage and shows true star power...all of the contestants pale in comparison.
she was making funky hand gestures the whole time. i didn't like it. can she not dance or something??
