Well, I guess Mariah night could have been worse. With the exception of Syesha, nobody channeled their inner belter, although we did get a night composed almost entirely of ballads.
The exception? David Cook's innovative rock take on "Always Be My Baby." It was consistent with the other surprises he's pulled in recent weeks, and it's worthy of the night's No. 1 slot. I still have some reservations -- cockiness, a lack of a full vocal range -- but I'll give him that spot.

I concur. I might put Archuleta at the bottom though. He's really working my nerves, almost as much as KLC.
Clearly, David Archuleta is the best talent in the competition. Perhaps those that don't agree are immature and have the "hots" for no-talent David C. None of the females have any star talent. David A. will be the winner of this competition.
Agree with "anonymous." Syesha should've been gone weeks ago. That tattooed low-class biker-looking chick, Carly, will be better suited to singing in smoke-filled biker hang-outs. Kristy and Brooke should have also been gone a long time ago. I don't see how they made it as far as they have.
David Cooke needs a make-over. He is pitiful looking...and I agree that he is pompous. At best, he's an average singer. He sure thinks he's hot, though. I expect either him or Carly to be the next to go.
Archuleta will win this competition. Oh, and by the way, where is your review of his excellent performance last night? You've made it clear that you hope David C. wins...don't you think your blog is extremely biased, not to mention ridiculous?
Castro has a unique sound, which is really like, but I can't get past those UGLY dreads. He is a good looking guy and look more like a star if he would get rid of those dreads. Looks like they must have bugs and other critters living in them. ICK.
David A. is going to win American Idol. There is NO competition. David C. looks like a freak; Jason is good looking but has GOT to get rid of that horrible hairdo; Kristy Lee is a no-talent bimbo; Carly sings so-so and her tatts are UGLY, UGLY, UGLY (not to mention her UGLY husband), and Brooke is just pathetic.
I forgot to mention Syesha...she doesn't have a CHANCE of winning the competition. I can't stand her singing, her appearance, or her attitude.
Looks like the David Archuleta fans are coming out of the woodwork. I have to say that he is getting OLD. and by old I don't mean mature. No, he's still giggling like an idiotic 10-year-old. At least he's still pure. I totally agree with what Simon said after David Cook performed about being a breath of fresh air on a bad karaoke night.
