Now it's David Archuleta, who joins the trend of mumbling incoherently about dreams in his interview. Man, he always looks so awkward on stage. He's like Mary Catherine Gallagher or something.
Song: "Angels"
Me: First of all, I'd like to thank David for ruining this song enough to make me hate it every time it plays at the end of my Saturday kick-boxing class. Anyway, he spices things up (kind of) by playing the piano, but in the end this is just typical David A. -- a slow, emotional ballad. But I guess I like it better than what we've seen from him in the past because it's not over the top. Tolerable overall, maybe even likable?
Randy: "That was your hottest moment the whole season."
Paula: "Fantastic."
Simon: "Best song choice of the night so far...You are going to sail through to the next round."

booooooooooooooooooooooooo
i want him gone even more than syesha and kristy lee.
pretty bad
repeat because i posted it in the wrong place:
OK, did you catch the girl holding up the "Lick your lips!" sign for Arculeta? She was like, 8! What the hell is wrong with America? And why do the 8-year-olds of our country no longer have taste?
Stoners are so much hotter than gaspy 17-year-olds with paralyzed vocal cords and angry stage daddies. Does he even have a mother? Is she kept in the closet and only allowed to come out for TV appearances? Why, Jesus, why?
He is the man
why the heck do people like him so much?
i personally went for a nap in the 2 minutes he was singing
Wow. That was friggin brilliant song choice and pristine execution. I wonder if he's actually playing the piano at all.
Good performance...this one pales so far from the Jessica Simpson version (ugh, can't believe I just said that) that it's not even in the same league.
I don't get the "Lick your Lips!" sign. Is "your Lips" code for something?
Decent performance. Not jumping up and down, but it was not bad.
Granted, I must admit I had already shut my ears off as soon as his intro video started playing. It cracked me up that he said he had soooo many "inspirational song" ideas that he couldn't choose between.
Puh-lease. You'd think after doing this genre every single pathetic week that he'd be running out of inspirational songs to sing.
i'm not sure that this style of music is cool anymore.
