OK, brace yourself for David Archuleta, who says his song this week gave him chills. Um, because his dad picked it?

Me: Wow. Another slow inspirational song from David. At least he picked something good this week, and it does sound better than other songs he's done during the top 12 stage. Nice, on par vocally, but predictable. That's all.
Randy: "David Archuleta is back tonight."
Paula: "You're just glorious"
Simon: "This week, absolutely on the money."

His vocals were stellar, as usual.
you know, they really should make another show for this type of singing. Broadway Idol or something. Because even though I like listening to this style of music for the 1.5 minutes of the show it takes up, I wouldn't drop $15 for a whole CD of this. I might want to see it in a musical onstage, but it's not something I'll sit in my car and rock out to.
And Archuleta really needs to try a different style.
He's getting so tiresome.
