Obligatory recap. Hmm...what did you guys think of those "Phantom" masks superimposed on the judges' faces?
Seacrest gets some one-on-one time with ALW. Upon further reflection, I agree that he's been the best mentor of the season. Perhaps of the past two seasons. He was frank, helpful and didn't go absolutely ga-ga over every contestant -- a la J-Lo and Sanjaya. A day after the performance episode, he's still not afraid to admit he didn't see eye-to-eye with Castro.
Although I do still think they celebrated 4/20 together.
Oh, and can you guys believe ALW is 60 years old? SOME people -- Dawn -- thought he was 80.

Totally not 80!!! And I agree, Castro and ALW were toking before tonight's show. Def.
