Here's Ramiele, who seems nervous to be working with Dolly.
Song: "Do I Ever Cross Your Mind"
Me: It's better energy than what we've gotten out of Ramiele in past weeks, but at least for the first half of the song, the background music seems to overpower her voice. I like that it's not a cheesy ballad, but at the same time this song doesn't do enough to showcase perhaps Ramiele's greatest strength -- her belting. Mediocre, but not a totally worthless effort.
Randy: "I thought it was a pretty good performance."
Paula: "You really connected with the audience."
Simon: "We're not going to remember this in 10 years time, are we?" Cruise ship reference, too.

her voice somehow doesn't mesh well with the twangy country instrumentals. and the tune to this song didn't showcase much unfortunately.
I think Simon was right about not remembering it in 10 years... maybe 10 minutes would have actually been more accurate
It was a cute performance... but something seemed to be missing. When it stacks up against the other performances tonight, it comes way short.
But there was nothing "bad" about it at all.
BUT we should keep in mind that Ramiele is one of the only true amateur singers on this show, and from that standpoint, she's probably miles beyond some of the others would have been.
