8:11 OK, an AI love triangle. We meet a set of twins...Chris and Cory. They're dressed identically. Then there's Ashley. She dated one of the twins, it didn't really work out, so she started dating the other twin. They've been together for a year. So...not really a love triangle, just keeping it in the family. Perfectly normal.
First, we see a performance from Chris and Cory. One raps while the other beatboxes. It's actually kind of cute, especially when the rapper forgets his lyrics. Nonetheless. they're totally amateurs, as Simon says, and they're turned down.
Now Ashley performs. While carrying her dog, "Panda." Simon asks if he can keep the dog and Ashley responds, "As long as you put me through to Hollywood, you can have whatever you want." Ouch. Her take on Kellie Pickler likely even leaves the dog in need of earplugs. Simon calls it "excruciating."
In an interview with Seacrest, Chris and Cory tell her they've lied to her about her voice. Probably because she's so hot.
Back to Ashley...three-way no. Though Simon says he would put Panda through.
8:17 Time for Cardin Lee McKinney, a waitress at a fondue restaurant. Have we seen her before? I swear the answer is yes...She sings a song from "Dreamgirls" and pulls it off well, even though it is a little showy. Simon's ambivalent, Paula's a fan, Randy's hesitant too.
Still, she makes it through, thanks to an OK from Paula and Randy.
