OK, tonight's compilation episode wasn't as awful as I expected, but I'm still overjoyed that auditions are officially over. I was surprised at how many semi-pros we watched, including former "Nashville Star" hopeful Amy Davis, not to mention Joanne Borgella, who among other things won "Mo'Nique's Fat Chance."
That said, I'd say tonight's show generated more musical train wrecks than legit contestants. The Dolly Parton fiasco was entertaining, but stuff like the so-called love triangle just wasted our time.
OK, and I just remembered how I knew of Cardin Lee McKinney. She lives in Nashville now, but spent some time in Huntsville, Ala. -- the coolest place in the world.
So what did you think? Are going to stop watching now that auditions are over? Or do you think the fun is just beginning?
