Wonderful result. Both Davids did a good job, but I'm so glad Cook won!
Be glad you're getting updates. Tivo cut out before the final performance. At least the announcement was captured. Just barely. You'd think they'd have learned after last time.

do you think that simon was disrespectful? he just gave his opinion. maybe the judges' group effort to fawn all over the kid was a bit annoying, but not really disrespectful
Very good season of AI! Both Davids are extremely talented, but I have to agree that David Cook seems to have more personality and maturity (probably because he's not 17)and I can see him as part of a rock group. Not sure about a solo artist, though. Archie will also get a contract. I believe that as this young man gets older and more mature that he will be very, very HOT and an incredible talent. Even at 17, he has given all of the older contestants a big run for their money. The friendship between the two Davids was very evident, and I truly believe that Archie was just as happy taking the "silver" and for Cook to win the "gold." Two sweet, lovable guys. Loved the show this year.
