'dread'-ing the future?

Not exactly, Jason Castro says in this exit interview with Entertainment Weekly. Read it for his response to claims that he "forgot" Tuesday's lyrics on purpose.

My final impressions? Castro seems like a genuinely nice guy who could see decent post-AI success as a recording artist -- assuming he finds the right genre and gets a little more experience under his belt. Yeah, he may have stumbled a bit toward the end, but he seemed to stay pretty true to himself throughout the race.

(Think of how often he must have resisted stylists' requests to cut his dreads!)

I also think that like Brooke, Jason helped support the case of musical instruments on AI.

But moving on...what do you guys think of the top 3? Stronger than last year's group? Think there's anything Syesha can do to crack the final two?

Loved the exit interview (I've been refreshing EW all day for it) ... except that the two songs he mentioned he might be singing are INCREDIBLE songs, so I wish I could've seen that.

He'll probably have an album, if he can gather up his lazy ass and put one together. He'll just have to be dealt the right hand of cards.

Still heart him! And now, per commenter Scott's suggestion, I'm pulling for a Syesha/Cook finale. Archuleta is so boring.

whatever Archuleta's voice is so much stronger and more powerful than the other twos'. it would be a real travesty if he got kicked off, an affront to real vocalists.
