idle numbers

In the wake of Carly's departure, here's yet another article about AI's dip in ratings.

Ratings for the show are down 7 percent -- its "first significant year-to-year decline," the piece contends.

I've heard a lot about viewership numbers in recent weeks, and I think much of that is overblown. I mean, the show is still No. 1, after all. I imagine it lasting another 2-3 years.

That said, if AI producers could do any one thing to increase ratings, what do you think it should be?

A new judging panel? A new elimination process? A new approach to theme weeks?

Suggestions wanted.
