syesha closes the show

Last but not least, it's Syesha's second effort of the night.

Song: "Thank the Lord for the Nighttime"

Me: Seems like she fares much better with fast songs. Why is this clear to everyone but Syesha? But doing well here might not be enough to save her. This performance, driven in part by theatrics, seems to remind fans again that we're watching a girl who's 98 percent best suited for Broadway. I'm fine with the song, though, despite the fact that it gets a bit shrieky at the end.

Randy: "I think you're finally realizing who you are."

Paula: "You've got that softness in your voice."

Simon: "You are a very good actress/singer...I think, however, you may be in trouble tonight."
