I just found out that Gwen Stefani will mentor the singers next week, and she and Akon will perform "The Sweet Escape" during Wednesday's results show. Read more here.
At first I thought they'd actually have to sing Gwen Stefani songs, but the aforementioned article says they'll be working under a "pop" theme. That's too bad. I'd love to hear Sanjaya say he ain't no hollaback girl. Or better yet, that he's "Just a Girl."

seriously?! Gwen? This is hot. I'm definitely coming over to watch Tuesday's. Though I've seen her in concert and she's not that great of a singer .... haha.
Yeah, she's really not. She wouldn't have made it on American Idol. But that just goes to show, sometimes singing talent doesn't matter even outside of AI voting.
